CC - 1: Pistol - Concealed Carry (Basic)
Concealed Carry - Level 1
This course discusses basic topics specific to carrying a concealed firearm in public soaces (ethics and legal issues plus more), how to draw from a holster, and concerns about shooting in a public space when defending yourself or others. Both the classroom and range portions are required. 200 rounds of ammunition is needed for the range portion of instruction.
The shooting range is a private range. The gate is open from 8am - 8:15am. There is no cell service at this location, so please do not be late. There is no capability to conduct class and let late comers into the range.
Stealth Defense Pistol - Basic class, the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, or similar training at the Certificate grade level. If you provide a certificate from another school other than Stealth Defense, there will be a 20 min basic pistol safety evaluation performed before you are allowed to sit for the range portion of this class where you will demonstrate safe handling of your firearm under an instructor’s direction.
Refresher of gun safety rules, refresher of basic gun handling, Legal, ethical responsibilities related with a self-defense shooting, legal and civil liabilities and your options.

On the range:
We will bring all the firearm safety rules into action, we discuss the basics of carry types, locations, and how to draw a gun from a holster (on and off body). Topics include: what to do with your gun when using a public restroom, 5-steps of drawing a pistol, shooting stances, refresher on grip, sight alignment & picture, dry-practice drawing and holstering, live (loaded gun) drawing and holstering, loading and unloading without a bench, checking our weapon clear, the 3-secrets of accurate shooting, controlled pair at 3, 7, 15 yards.
